Do Follow Me

September 22nd, 2009 by Cancer

I finally got around to working on one of my other projects. It’s called Do Follow Me. It’s a highly customized directory/search engine. It only lists sites that allow users to post links (web 2.0 sites) and these sites must not use the ref=”nofollow” attribute for anchor tags in order to be included. Results can be broken down by grouping, page rank, or alexa rank.

Right now I’m finishing up the main engine. I should be done in 2-3 days. Then it’s just a matter of adding new sites to the engine.

It’s my hope that this tool will turn into a great resource for those who are looking to build backlinks.

I’ve turned off commenting. I’m tired of all the spam. It’s up to 100’s per day. It sucks.

Flight School

September 18th, 2009 by Cancer

Back in early May, actually the very same day I finished at Arizona State, I started flight school. I’ve been working on getting my private pilots license.

I’m almost done. I have 3 hours of solo flying left to do, the written test, a little bit more flight practice, and then I’m ready to take the final check ride (and hopefully get licensed).

I hope to be done by mid October at the latest.

Then I need to figure out how I am going to buy a plane…

This Summer

June 15th, 2009 by Cancer

I’ve been a little busy, but a lot has been going on.

I graduated ASU and got my bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems.

I started flight school and am about one third of the way toward my private pilot license.

I’ve been programming/updating Vampire Rave like crazy.

Lots going on this summer.

Final CIS Class and Project

April 18th, 2009 by Cancer

I’m finishing up my final semester at Arizona State University. In less than a month, I’ll have my degree. The last course I have is an eCommerce course. We had to develop a website as a group project:

VCPI.us

There’s also a competition for the best designed site. Since I did the entire website design, I’m sure our group will win.
